About Me
Greetings! And thanks for visiting Try Natural Health Cures!
If you’re visiting this “about” page, it’s probably because you want to know something more about the person writing all the stuff on this site. If that is indeed the case, you’ve come to the right place.
I’ve been interested in natural healing remedies for years, and it’s been a long journey of discovery. I suppose my interest stems from the fact that most of my life I’ve had medical problems of some kind or other. It started when I was 14, and I kept having pain in my right side. It would go away for a while, but sooner or later it always came back.
Maybe that’s one of the reasons I decided to become a Registered Nurse. By age 19 I had graduated and was working in a teaching hospital. And I can honestly say I was good at what I did. But I still couldn’t help myself.
And neither, it seemed, could conventional medicine and doctors.
Over the years, I went through tests on practically every system of my body. I was diagnosed with bowel problems, gynecological problems, ulcers, depression, spinal problems, urological problems and even had several surgeries including a lumbar laminectomy, kidney stone removal, gallbladder removal and more.
Did any of these get rid of the pain?
No, they did not.
I was finally fortunate enough to come across a doctor with a genius for diagnosis, who realized it wasn’t any of my internal organs causing the pain, but the nerve itself was the problem. Thus I ended up with the diagnosis of thoracic neuralgia, or Regional Pain Syndrome.
Knowing the cause of the problem was nice, because I was tired of doctors treating me like I was just a crazy neurotic woman. However, it didn’t cure the problem! In fact, things got worse as the nerve pain triggered Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
In the last 10 years since then, I’ve tried all kinds of therapy, both convential and alternative health therapy, in an effort to alleviate the symptoms caused by the nerve pain, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome.
For me, conventional medicine was not the answer. I have found much more help in natural healing remedies like The Healing Codes, Rock Solid Tranquility, changing my diet, and taking some supplements.
However, I can’t tell you what the right answer is for you. I certainly would never tell you to all of a sudden quit going to your doctor and throw out all your pills. What I would say is you need to research all your options, and decide for yourself what you want to try.
Abide by this quote from the original Hippocratic Oath of doctors:
I will prescribe regimens for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and never do harm to anyone.
Just as the doctor should do no harm, be careful to do YOURSELF no harm. Learn all you can about any health problems you have, and use your judgment on what natural health cures might be helpful.
I hope you will find useful information here, and wish you the best of health and life.
