This is the second time I’ve listened to Dr. Alex Loyd speak on Wednesday at 1:30p.m. Central Time. Both times I have come away from the experience with a really good feeling about what he has to say.
Today the subject was “Free will exists because …..”
Dr. Loyd explained the blank, as in “Free will exists because love requires it.”
A very brief paraphrasing on my part:
It really isn’t love if you don’t make the conscious decision to love. You have to be able to chose love. So to have love requires free will.
In addition, he talked about time existing because belief requires time. Faith requires time, not instant results. If you got everything you wanted instantly, you’d never learn to have faith things will happen.
